Hello from Los Mensejeros!
Yesterday our group traveled to San Pedro for their church service. We had the privilege of traveling with some Dominican brothers and sisters. It was a two hour bus trip so we were able to have many encouraging conversations along the way.When we arrived we were greeted warmly. It was a beautiful open air church where we came together to worship the Lord in both Spanish and English. We were really refreshed by their hospitality and their love for the Lord. It was encouraging to see and hear from Pastor Sabino who we have been praying for and to be welcomed into their church for the day.
Through his message we were reminded of our purpose as believers. We spent the afternoon eating, playing sports, having fellowship, and then to finish the day, we were able to witness 11 Dominicans being baptized. It was a blessing to be able to spend the day with them and to be reminded that we serve the same God and that He does not change.
Prayer Requests:
- God would put people in our paths that have a soft heart for the Gospel and speak English
- Perseverance throughout the week
- Staying healthy
